The 49th Europump Annual Meeting will be in Stockholm June 3rd to 6th 2009 and it will focus on Energy Efficiency and the EuP Directive. The Meeting gathers the leading pump manufacturers from Europe and United States. The meeting will be held at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm.

In conjunction with the meeting there will be interesting study visits such as “Henriksdals Wastewater Treatment Plant”/Sjöstadsverket, where you will be able to follow the complete process from wastewater coming into the production and usage of biogas as car fuel. GlashusEtt is the centre for environmental information and communication in Hammarby Sea City.

EUROPUMP and its 18 member nations represent more than 450 companies with a collective annual production worth about 6 billion Euros. The member countries are; Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom.

The Swedish association SWEPUMP, the Swedish Pump Suppliers’ Association has its seat within the Association of Swedish Engineering Industries, Teknikföretagen, which is the national organization representing the interests of the Swedish engineering industry as a whole. Teknikföretagen is both an employer association and a trade association. It has 3400 engineering member companies with more than 300 000 employees.
